The Saga of The Gatekeeper Codex

There was no doubt about it, Polybius The Gatekeeper had slipped into madness. Ever since he had uncovered the ancient arcane tome Known as “The Gatekeeper Codex”, he had become completely detached from reality, obsessed with this ancient alien organization that was able to generate gates between the worlds. Even now, as war raged throughout Alpha Primaris, Polybius stayed confined to his crystalline tower, guarded by bizarre clones of himself, and pouring over the tome. He was certain that if they were to successfully repel the attempt by the Galaxxors to reclaim Alpha Primaris, he was going to have to summon assistance from another dimension.

Crackling black energy rolled the room as Polybius recited the incantation, his cycloptic green eye the only source of illumination in the dark miasma. Circular swirling portals began to materialize in and out of existence. Polybius’s clones instinctually took a defensive position, surrounding him. Gates began to open and close with increasing frequency, creating a buzzing sound, increasing in frequency and volume, until it crescendoed into a staggering BOOM!

Vannonor stood before Polybius, his armor still radiating steam and raw cosmic energy. He surveyed the room, looked down at his hands and then looked towards Polybius.
